The Mezban team was running the restaurant in the conventional way which added to their challenges in breaking into the online market.. They were also unsure about taking their business online because they weren’t familiar with technology. They depended on third-party platforms for online orders, where they had to pay a lot for each order as a commission. As a result, it was hard for them to get more known in their area and their profits started to drop.

As mentioned above, Mezban relied on third-party food giants like Uber Eats, Lieferando, Wolt and more to sell food online. The team had to pay for each order they received through these platforms. This has significantly lowered their profit level. Moreover, they did not even notice much increase in their number of orders as they had to keep the food prices higher on these platforms than their actual price.
